Coleman was born in Blackpool Lancashire. She attended Arnold School Blackpool as head girl, and she received all As on her A level exams. She regrets that she didn't receive a standard college education in her discussion of her experience at Emmerdale. Coleman was part of a group called In Yer Space at her school. The group performed Crystal Clear in Edinburgh Festival. Along with winning a prize for her acting, the production it performed attracted a lot of attention. Coleman is looking to audition for drama college in 2005, got Jasmine Thomas' role in Emmerdale. Coleman was nominated twice in 2007. In 2007, Coleman was nominated for two awards, The British Soap Awards as the Best Newcomer, and the National Television Awards as the Most Popular. For the British Soap Awards of 2009 she was nominated under the categories of Best Actress and Sexiest female and the category for Best Dramatic Acting. Coleman was nominated for Best Actress at the TV Choice Awards. Steven Moffat of Doctor Who made it clear at a press event on 21st March 2012 that Coleman would be replacing Karen Gillan after she and Arthur Darvill had left. Moffat selected her for the role because she worked the best alongside Smith and could talk faster than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Elle has been in the field of film since 1987. She was more popular on TV. Eva's roles in TV series The Dr. Maria Santos, in All My Children, and detective Natalia Boa Vista in CSI Miami are notable. Her first TV role earned the show two Daytime Emmy nominations, and allowed her to develop her love for music. Eva is a businesswoman, and also an actress. Eva has three husbands and one child born from the third.
